I can't remember a time in my life when I wasn't doodling something. As a kid it was mostly animals and trees, as a teen it was characters of my favorite TV shows. Then the (at the time) children's Librarian of my local Library introduced me to the creation of web pages. Using HTML and free hosting from GeoCities, I made my first couple of sites. They were nothing special, but I was excited that I could 'design' the page and add in graphics of my own creation.
Fast-forward to the present and I am now working on the last semester of my second degree; a B.S. in Web and Integrated Media with a Minor in Marketing.
Now, working with all the new available tools is a joy. HTML5, new web standards, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, the various CMS and all the Google tools for managing, tracking and creating solid site SEO and ad campaigns.
Now, it's a given that I am not the best developer, designer, or marketer out there; but I do have passion for what I do and I enjoy working through the problems till I make the project work. I'm excited to be a part of this community, I hope to learn and perhaps be of some assistance as well.
